Kaiser Study

Karyn was one of the shamanic practitioners in a clinical trial of shamanic healing funded by The National Institute of Heath’s research grant and carried out by researchers at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research in Portland, Oregon.  The study is complete and has been published in the Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, a peer-reviewed journal, Nov/Dec 2007 · Vol 13, No. 6, pp. 18-29.   All shamanic providers received training from the Foundation for Shamanic Study, among others.
