Karyn the Professional - Shamanic Healing Soul Retrieval Portland

Karyn’s previous life was in Corporate America, her start was with large cosmetic companies such as Clinique & Christian Dior Perfumes from there she moved on to the fast paced high tech communications industry and was on the payroll of MCI Worldcom for several years and then moved on to work for AT&T. After seeing her 401k and stock options vanish due to the downfall of MCI Worldcom and the communications industry in general, her health suffering, due to the stress and toxic environment of Corporate culture she resigned her position to follow a much more heart centered occupation and that is when Harmonic Visions was born.

Karyn Armstrong’s shamanic training is with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, directed by Michael Harner, and is a graduate of Sandra Ingerman’s Teacher Training in Advanced Shamanic Healing practices. Karyn has apprenticed with indigenous shamans and medicine men in Peru, Bali, Egypt and Canada. Karyn was one of the shamanic practitioners in a clinical trial of shamanic healing funded by The National Institute of Heath’s research grant and carried out by researchers at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research in Portland, Oregon She has preformed hundreds of Soul Retrievals, teaches internationally and is recognized for her ability to bridge the world of spirit and bring it into everyday life. Over the past 20 years, her education and experience in the healing arts includes, Shamanic Healing, Reiki, Healing Touch, Sound Healing, Flower Essences, Essential Oils, Expressive Movement, Yoga, Voice, Tantra, Drum and Rattle making as well as sponsoring and facilitating workshops and seminars in the US and Canada.

Karyn integrative approach to her teaching is based on years of personal experience and learning which is rooted in her own unique, focused and disciplined daily spiritual practice.

Karyn the Seeker

Karyn has journeyed to Peru mystical "Land of the Children of the Sun" and spent the night in Machu Pichu after making an offering to the Gods. Explored the great Egyptian Mysteries in Egypt, meditated under the full moon at the temple of Horus and was initiated in the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid. Most recently Karyn submerged herself in the culture of Bali and was initiated by a High Priest in one of the nine holiest temples in Bali located in the remote mist-shrouded like temple, Pure Luwur Batukaru.

Karyn teaches courses in Space Clearing and also teaches a variety of Shamanic workshops across the country and has recently developed a practice of spiritual awakening through Shamanic Tantra™.
